Website Update July 4th, 2006

The Entire Monsef family is very sad about the great loss of life in Asia. Our site may not be updated as much as we would like in the next coming weeks, but the Little Monsef Brother who runs this place is on his way to volunteer and do releif work for the next 2 months in Thailand. The older, less productive brother will still be around handling orders, so please keep your support up.

It is amazing how you can go to bed with some hope that the truth has gotten out and that the majority of people are fired up for a major change, only to wake up feeling frustrated and disappointed that it wasn't true...

In depths of our frustration we found some humor, and believe me we are all going to need a little humor to get through this. Yeah, we could gripe about the possible tampering of the vote, but there are fine people like Bev Harris and her crew, on the frontlines getting the votes checked and we will know the truth soon enough. The bottom line is that for now the jackass has been re-elected (or only "elected" if we're keeping track). But I'm not going to freak out now and start ranting yet. I am going to put on my official "The Jackass Won" T-shirt and smile because you have to admit the shirt is pretty funny.

If we are in fact stuck with "W" for the next four years, we must pledge to not simply roll over. We must continue the good fight to hold our heads up high and proclaim that our great country is the land of the progressive and the fair. It has been inspiring to see the development of news and information sites that report factual information. That is why we will donate 20% of our profits to organizations like MoveOn.org, TrueMajority.org, Air America Radio... and others. We are going to need those sites and journalists that can get the real information out to the people throughout the next four years.

Now more than ever we need to speak up for what's right! Americans can make good decisions when given honest information, which "W" has not done. Accountability, a word that has little meaning in our current system, could mean something again with enough people standing together informed and insistent that our leaders' decisions uphold our highest values. It is to this cause that we dedicate this shirt. To the true fearless leaders of the American cause whose passion and purpose it is to give the people the information they need in order to understand and actively participate in our democracy!
