Our troops are not the war and they are definitely not the president. We fully support our troops... Brothers, Sisters, Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, and Friends. They have had the courage and conviction to put their lives on the line for this country. To risk what is most precious, they deserve nothing less than the utmost respect.

There is no price on a human life, but it should surely be worth more than dirty food and to be left unprotected without the best body armor and protection. The debt we owe our soldiers is never done being repaid. When our service men and women return from battle they should be given nothing less than adequate care and benefits.

Bush's 2005 budget is falling more than $2.6 billion short of the amount needed to fully fund quality veterans' health care and adding a 53 percent increase in co-pay costs. This is driving anywhere from 200,000 to 500,000 vets out of the VA health care system and we don't see how that is supporting our troops. Private groups are making large amounts of money rebuilding Iraq while the men and women who are protecting their lives, with their own, are being left out in the cold.
